The fountain at the junction of Cruz Machado and Alameda Cabral, honors the couple and country singers "Nho Belarmino and Nhá Gabriela". Both were very popular em Curitiba and everybody who ever lived in Curitiba knows the song printed on the tiles of the fountain.
The fountain is a Fernando Canalli's design with columns engraved with pine seeds, framing pictures printed on tiles of the couple and the verses of the song "Mocinhas da Cidade", immortalized by them and first recorded in the early '50s.
