Moreira Garcez Building

In the 20's, Curitiba had about 79 thousand inhabitants. The traditional Rua XV de Novembro was already the main point of the city, with several pedestrian passing by. At the end of the decade, in 1927, Moreira Garcez Building, the first "skyscraper" of Paraná and the third of the country was built. The building was designed by John Moreira Garcez, architect and former mayor of Curitiba.
