Built in 1890, the Hoffmann House served as residence and commerce to immigrants of an Austrian family in the weaving business. With eclectic architecture, the House worked until 1974 as trade of fabrics and haberdashery. In 1993, the Hoffman House was expropriated by the administration of the city for its preservation as a historical unity. It is administered by the Cultural Foundation of Curitiba.
