Cherry blossom at Japan Square

Right before we depart for our trip (by the way, it is rainning today in NYC) the cherry trees of Japan Square bloom. The square itself is beaultiful and it is even more with these flowers.

Interesting the fact that the color of the girls`s bag matches the color of the flowers.

Schedule for today (if the rain permits): Flatiron and Gramercy districts.

Hi Hilda. Yes they are. The emperor of Japan send these trees to the Japanese imigrants of Curitiba as a gift.
