The Guaira Theater in Curitiba is one of the largest and one of the most important in Latin America. It has three auditoriums: Bento Munhoz da Rocha with 2173 seats; Salvador de Ferrante auditorium (Guairinha) with 504 seats; and Glauco Flores de Sá Brito auditorium with 113 seats.
The main entrance at Santos Andrade square, has a front panel designed by Poty Lazzarotto.
The construction of the building started in 1952 and completed in 1974.
