Another spot in Curitiba that worth one (or many) visit is the "Mercado Municipal". Besides the obvious (fresh fruits or vegetables), there you can find grocery stores of imported spices, rare products, fine wines, high quality coffee and anything that is necessary in a recipe.
A recent attraction there is the newly launched Organic Market, riding the wave of food-based products without use of pesticides.
You better get there early, because the mess of people and cars is huge!
